CHAPS works in conjunction with the district to provide quality before & after-school care for elementary-aged students enrolled in Hudson Public Schools.

 

Hosted on-site at the schools, the programs offer families a convenient and seamless childcare solution. Students are dropped off by parents in the mornings and, after school, are dismissed directly into CHAPS care, eliminating the need for additional transportation.

Engaging activities are a key focus, supporting both academic success and social development. Children can participate in arts and crafts, sports, and other hands-on projects designed to foster teamwork, creativity, and physical activity.

Programs utilize school facilities—including cafeterias, gyms, and outdoor spaces such as playgrounds, fields, and hardtops—to create a versatile and dynamic playing environment where students can have fun and stay active.

To ensure safety and effective communication, CHAPS uses the Procare system to manage attendance and maintain regular contact with families.
